Founded in 1996, Guimatex has grown into one of Belgium’s leading producers of bathroom rugs. We began with woven bath mats and, in 2008, expanded into tufted rugs through the acquisition of Debilux. The 2011 takeover of Jean Alan further strengthened our position in the market. Since 2015, our own in-house dyeing facility has allowed us to offer exceptional flexibility in color choice and customized design, reinforcing our commitment to quality and innovation.
Today, all Guimatex operations are united at a single integrated site in Izegem, Belgium, where administration and full-scale production come together under one roof. Our vertical process—spanning design, weaving or tufting, latex backing, dyeing, packaging, and logistics—ensures consistent quality, short lead times, and maximum flexibility.
